In continuation of this Department's Policy letter of even number dated October 20, 2014, the Chairman District Recruitment Committee/District Coordination Officers are requested to finish double copy of advertisement for recruitment of Educators under Recruitment Policy 2014 for vetting from the Department prior to publishing in daily Newspaper.
The rationalization of Markiz and Schools in the Tehsil shall be completed and notified by the district on or before 26-11-2014 after observing all codal formalities as per Recruitment Policy 2014 and submit the said notification to the Department alogwith the advertisement......

Act 

to provide for proceedings against the employees in government and corporation service in relation to their efficiency, discipline and accountability.

Preamble:– Whereas it is expedient and necessary in the public interest and for good governance to provide measures for improvement of efficiency, discipline and accountability of employees in government and corporation service and matters connected therewith or ancillary thereto;
It is hereby enacted as follows:-
1.   Short title, extent, commencement and application.–

(1) This Act may be called the Punjab Employees Efficiency, Discipline and Accountability Act 2006.

(2)  It extends to the whole of the Punjab.
(3)  It shall come into force at once.
(4)  It shall apply to–
(i)   employees in government service;
(ii)   employees in corporation service; and
(iii)   retired employees of government and corporation service; provided that proceedings under

Government of the Punjab Finance Department Lahore has issued Notification No.FD.SR-II/2-141/2012 dated 11th April 2014 in respect of amendment in Rule 19 of the Revised Leave Rules 1981 with effect from 01-09-2013 with the following words:
''In the rule 19, for the words ''One Hundred and Eighty'' wherever occurring, the words ''Three Hundred and Sixty Five'' shall be substituted.''

Explanation:

In the past a government servant had right to have leave encashment for 180 days, if he had 180 or less than 180 days of  LFP in his/her leave account then he/she can had right to receive the payment of maximum 180 days payment to his/her basic pay instead of availing LPR. By, this Notification a retired servant will now receive leave encashment upto 365 days or less of his/her LFP w.e.f 01-09-2013, if he/she has 365 days or less in his/her leave account.

Government of Pakistan Cabinet Secretariat, Establishment Division has issued Notification No. 8/10/2013-E.2 dated 20-10-2014 about Assistance Package for the families of the Federal Government Employees who die in service. According to the notification, the Prime Minister of Pakistan has approved amendments/ additions in Lump Sum Grant, Pension, Education, Cash Payment in Lieu of Plot of Land, Employment, Marriage Grant, Nomination of an Officer as Counsel, Special Lump Sum Grant from Benevolent Fund, Monthly Benevolent Grant, Pre-requisite for Facilitation of Family of Deceased Govt. Employees, GP Fund, Payment of Pension through Direct Credit Scheme (DCS) with effect from 15-06-2013, in the existing assistance package Notification No. 7/40/2005-E-2 dated 13-06-2006 for the families of government employees who die during service.

The Competent Authority has approved the recruitment of Educators against all the left over posts which remained unfilled due to non availability of candidates. during the recent recruitment under the Recruitment Policy 2013 dated 31-07-2013. Presently, if any next in merit candidate be available against the advertised seats where joining has not taken place, candidate has left after joining of Letter of Agreement of merit candidates are not issued till now due to any reason, the EDO(Edu) will issue Letters of Agreement for such candidates.
In addition to above, the Competent Authority has further approved the recruitment against 18470 posts of Educators (All Categories). The district-wise break up of 18470 posts of Educators is at Annex-A. Further, the posts of Educators remained unfilled against the allocated posts under Recruitment Policy 2013 will also be advertised under the Recruitment Policy 2014.

MOVING ONE SCALE UP OF EMPLOYEES OF BS-1 to BS-4 with effect from 01.07.2007

Government of the Punjab Finance Department Lahore Notification No. FD.PC.2-2/2014 dated 16th July 2014

Government of the Punjab Finance Department Lahore has issued Notification No. FD.PC.2-2/2014 dated 16th July 2014 regarding clarification about up graduation of employees working in scale 1 to 4 despite of having selection grade or not. According to the above said notification, all employees working in scale 1 to 4 have been promoted one scale up (i.e., to next higher scale) w.e.f. 01-07-2007 without any discrimination and irrespective of the fact whether they were allowed selection grade or not. This clarification will take effect from 01.07.2007 and all the clarifications previously made in this regard shall be deemed to have been notifies to the indicated above.
